Jane Geisler is an American film director and editor based in New Orleans. As director, her work across narrative and experimental modes seeks to amplify the power, beauty, and weirdness of “ordinary” moments using humor, sensuality, and epic opera.
Editing projects have included everything from digital content for brands like AFAR, Campari, and COMPLEX to award-winning feature films Buckjumping (dir. Lily Keber) and CJ Hunt’s Emmy-nominated The Neutral Ground.
A New England native, she has spent most of her adult life in the American South and lived in Louisiana for over a decade.
