In classical Roman religion, a "genius loci" was the protective spirit of a place. This immersive short is a digital forest bath — an homage to the viriditas of the swamps, marshes, groves, and glades of South Louisiana — and (in the spirit of zero waste) is composed entirely of unused b-roll filmed for a number of narrative shorts I have directed or edited.
